This 30-hour course gives supervisors, safety officers, engineers and experienced workers a broad, practical understanding of hazards in general industry: factories, warehouses, power plants, oil and gas facilities, hospitals and service industries. It follows the topics of the OSHA Outreach Training Program for General Industry and the requirements of OSHA 29 CFR 1910.
You will study OSHA's role and worker rights, safety programme management, walking-working surfaces and fall protection, exit routes and fire safety, electrical safety, PPE, hazard communication, machine guarding and lockout/tagout, materials handling, industrial hygiene, welding, confined spaces, process safety and other health hazards.
Every module links the OSHA rule to Bangladesh practice under the Labour Act 2006, Labour Rules 2015, BNBC 2020 and the Fire Act 2003, with examples from RMG, textile, steel, port, power, pharmaceutical and oil and gas workplaces.
Please note: this is a RiskProBD training course based on OSHA standards. The RiskProBD certificate is not a US Department of Labor OSHA Outreach (DOL) card, which is issued only through OSHA-authorised trainers and training providers.
